Badges are lifetime achievements that belong to one Cubee alone. Every Cubee has the same five badges, and each badge rises through five tiers as the two of you play together. Badges are never shared between Cubees, and once a tier is earned it is kept for good.
Where to see them
Badges live on each Cubee's own menu, not in one shared list.
- Crouch to bring your Cubees close, then right-click one with an empty hand to open its menu. The Badges button, on the far right, opens its badge row.
- You can also right-click the tile of any Cubee whose collection your server has installed in the Cubees List to open its menu, and press Badges there.
The Quests menu has a Cubee's Badges tile as well, but it is only a note that explains the five badges. It is not a button.
The badge row starts with a header tile that shows the Cubee and how many of its five badges are maxed out. Next come the five badges. Hover over one to see its current tier, your total so far, the full list of tiers with a tick beside each one you have, and what the next tier needs.
The tiers
Every badge climbs the same ladder:
- Full Oxidide Copper: nothing earned yet.
- Oxidide Copper: you have made a start, but have not reached tier I.
- I Copper
- II Iron
- III Gold
- IV Diamond
- V Crystal, the top. The tile then tells you the badge is fully maxed out.
Each tier also has a name of its own, which depends on the badge. The goals below are the defaults; your server can change them.
The five badges
Vitality
The highest vitality this Cubee has ever reached. Feeding raises vitality, and the badge remembers the best it has ever been, so a yucky snack that knocks vitality down cannot take a badge back.

On a server running the McPets edition this badge is called Power and counts the highest power the Cubee has reached, which rises with its level, and only Fighters earn Valour. See McPets Edition.
Journey
Time spent out in the world together. It counts one second for every second you are moving with this Cubee out, and the tile shows your total in days, hours and minutes.

Appetite
Snacks this Cubee has been fed. Favourites and yucky ones all count.

Valour
Cu-Battles won with this Cubee leading. Only the Cubee in your Main slot is credited for a win, so put the Cubee you want to raise in the Main slot before you fight. See Cu-Battle.

Mastery
Times this Cubee has used its ability. Automatic casts and the casts you order with its Cubit both count. A Cubee whose card shows only a Passive never casts an ability, so its Mastery badge stays empty.

Earning a tier
Badges fill in by themselves while you play. You never accept or claim them. When a Cubee reaches a new tier, a sound plays, a Badge Unlocked title shows the Cubee's icon and the tier's name, and a chat message tells you which tier out of five was reached and which Cubee earned it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Your Duo earns badges too. Vitality, Journey, Appetite and Mastery count for every Cubee you have out; only Valour is limited to the Main slot.
- Journey only counts while the Cubee is out with you. A Cubee living in a habitat does not add to it.
- The same things you do for badges (feeding, battling, using abilities, travelling) also count toward the quest you are working on. See Quests.
